Head-on collision

The Sentinel-Record/Grace Brown Hot Springs police Officer Mike Jones works the scene of a head-on collision between a Honda Accord and Toyota Avalon in the 1400 block of Park Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday. Jones said the Toyota was traveling southwest on Park Avenue when it crossed the center line and hit the Honda head-on. The drivers of both vehicles were trapped inside and had to be extricated. Several people were reportedly injured, but the names of the victims and their medical conditions were not available at presstime.
