LONSDALE — Brooklyn Rae Castleberry, 23 months, of Lonsdale, passed away July 20, 2019. She was born August 20, 2017, in Benton, Ark., to Dustin and Sadia (Gish) Castleberry. Our sweet Brooklyn Rae was the perfect balance to our little family. She had a personality that would make anyone smile. She had such a funny way of making a joke, but could also let people know she wasn’t having it, either.
She adored her big sister, Paisley, more than words could describe. Their relationship was what every parent would dream of. The faith our family has in our Lord Jesus Christ assures us that our princess is free of pain and is being loved unconditionally. Brooklyn has touched so many people’s lives and was able to bless our family with her hugs and kisses.
Baby girl, you will be missed terribly, but we cannot wait to see you again. Rest well sweet girl, Mommy and Daddy love you always and forever.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Don Castleberry and Dawn Dunnavant, and her great-grandparents, Jimmy and Elvie Dunnavant and Harley Crain.
Loving survivors include her parents; sisters, Paisley Castleberry and Kallie Castleberry; grandmother, Patsy Castleberry; great-grandparents, Neva Gish and Versee Crain; aunts and uncles, Greg (Taylor), Monica, Stone (Amanda), Lillie, Crystal (Michael) and Joshua; and great-uncle, Lenny (Karen).
A celebration of Brooklyn’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Walnut Grove Community Church, with a visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Pastor Roger Harper will be officiating.
