Paul Anthony Sorrell, age 51, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, Aug. 23, 2021.

He was born on Jan. 8, 1970, in Hot Springs, the son of Clifton Paul Sorrell and Margie Hampton Sorrell. On Sept. 18, 2004, he was married to Christine "Chrissy" Smith. He was preceded in death by his father.

Paul was a salesman for CED Mor Electric and took pride in servicing his CED customers. He enjoyed music and loved "pickin and grinnin" with family and friends. A Christian man, he loved and cherished his family and always made as many school events and sports activities as he could. Paul always looked forward to grilling and eating with his family and friends, and he especially enjoyed those Razorback parties. He served as a coach with the Optimist volleyball, softball and basketball programs.

He is survived by his wife, Chrissy Sorrell; two children, Cory Smith and Allison Sorrell; his mother, Margie Sorrell; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Tina and Larry Sanders and Penny and Brian Jackson, all of Hot Springs; his nieces and nephews, Sarah Sanders, Katelyn Taylor, Lori Sanders, Kyle Jackson, Colton Farmer, Stoney Smith and Waylon Smith; and two great-nephews, Nolan Taylor and Graham Jackson.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Hot Springs, with Brother George Lynch officiating.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Rush Fork Cemetery.
