St. Luke's to host
Jazz Mass Sunday
St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 228 Spring St., will host a Jazz Mass at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
Music for the mass includes Sanctus and Agnus Dei from "Jazz for the Masses" by Michael Benshish. Hymns include "I've Got Peace Like a River," "Wade in the Water," "Precious Lord," "Take My Hand," and "O When the Saints Go Marching In."
Musicians will include Chuck Dodson, piano; Shelley Martin, flute; Brandon Dorris, alto sax; Stephen Mason, tenor sax, Byron Yancey, bass; Slavic Beluba, drums, and the St. Luke's Choir.
