John Stewart, of Hot Springs, died on July 17, 2024 after a long illness. He was 70.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Vanessa Stewart; children Marie Barron of Hot Springs, Rod Stewart of Hot Springs, Lisa Stewart of Chattanooga, Tenn., Quentin White of Little Rock; step-daughter J'auan Gaylyn Lake of Hot Springs; his brothers Steven Stewart of Asheville, N.C., Tim Stewart of Ocala, Fla., and Patrick Stewart of Hot Springs; brother-in-law Larry Gant of Hot Springs, sisters-in-law Gloria Wilson and Betty Moon, both of Hot Springs, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will have a private graveside service.
