Candidate forum set for Thursday at library
The Garland Good Government Group and Toastmasters International will host a candidate forum Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Garland County Library Auditorium, 1427 Malvern Ave.
Federal, state, judicial and local candidates on the Nov. 5 general election ballot have been invited. Candidates will have five minutes for opening statements and several minutes to answer questions.
"This is an opportunity for you to meet new candidates you may not know and visit with those you do," GGGG said in a news release. "Please bring your friends and neighbors so we can have a good turnout for all the fine people who are willing to serve the public."
