National Park Medical Center and care.ai, the "category-defining" AI Smart Care Facility Platform, recently announced the continuation of their partnership to expand virtual care solutions for patients and providers.
"The ongoing collaboration is set to transform health care delivery by empowering clinicians and enhancing patient care end-to-end," NPMC said in a news release.
Since the successful implementation of virtual care to support bedside nursing teams in May 2023, NPMC has significantly broadened its use of care.ai's AI-powered solutions across a variety of use cases, including Virtual Case Management.
"We are committed to providing the highest quality care, which begins with investing in technology to empower clinicians so they can better serve our patients," Lisa Wallace, NPMC chief nursing officer, said in the release.
"Our continued partnership with care.ai is an integral component that aids in optimizing our processes and improving care delivery."
NPMC said it plans to further expand and integrate AI-powered solutions to continue enhancing patient care.
"As our world evolves and new technologies emerge, we are thrilled to be able to use those in the nursing industry to provide better patient care," Sherri Schamp, RN BSN, who works on the Med-Surge Unit, said in the release.
"The partnership with care.ai and expanding upon our virtual care allows us to extend our bandwidth and be able to serve our patients and community better," added Terri Dobyns, RN BSN, who also works on the Med-Surge Unit.
