A Hot Springs man was arrested late Sunday after allegedly threatening to burn down his grandmother's house and destroying several items of her property despite being banned from the residence.

Dylan Michael Wilson, 28, who listed his grandmother's Brantley Circle address as his own at the time of his arrest, was taken into custody at the residence around 10:15 p.m. and charged with a felony count of first-degree terroristic threatening, punishable by up to six years in prison, and misdemeanor counts of first-degree criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

Wilson was being held on a $5,000 bond and was set to appear Monday in Garland County District Court with a felony review hearing set for Dec. 6. According to court records, he lists no prior felony history, but had prior convictions for misdemeanor counts of aggravated assault on family and household members, trespass and criminal mischief.

According to the probable cause affidavit, shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, Garland County sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the residence on Brantley Circle for a disturbance in progress.

They reportedly found Wilson standing in the middle of the driveway of the residence and detained him. They spoke to the homeowner, 74, who is Wilson's grandmother, who said Wilson showed up at her house and started yelling for her to let him inside.

She said she called 911 as Wilson became more disorderly and then he started breaking the outer glass door and frame on the front of her residence, causing approximately $600 in damages. Then he allegedly started throwing her property around on the front and back porch, destroying two flower pots, valued at $20 each, and damaging her mailbox, valued at $30.

The grandmother said Wilson has not lived at the residence in over three years and has been banned from the property and arrested for trespassing there on previous occasions.

Deputies spoke to Wilson's sister, who was at the scene, and she stated Wilson was "pacing and shouting" in the driveway when she arrived home. She said Wilson told her he was "going to burn the house up" with his grandmother and his sister's baby inside.

Wilson was questioned after being read his rights and allegedly admitted to "all the damages" and to stating he was "going to burn the house up." At that point, he was taken into custody on the felony and misdemeanor charges.
