NPMC welcomes new general surgeon

National Park Medical Center recently welcomed general surgeon Dr. Oscar Talledo to its medical staff.

Talledo will practice alongside Dr. Christian Latham at National Park Surgery Specialists, a news release said.

"With a medical degree from San Martin de Porres University, Dr. Talledo has pursued extensive education and training to provide the best possible care to his patients. He completed his surgical internships at Duke Medical Hospital, followed by a general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center," the release said.

"Dr. Talledo is a very welcome addition to the NPMC family," Scott Bailey, CEO, said in the release. "He is here and ready to hit the ground running. We are looking forward to fulfilling this need for our community."

Talledo further specialized in minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery through a fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

"Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Talledo ensures effective communication with his patients," the release said.

He holds certifications in various surgical techniques, including robotic surgery, endoscopic surgery, and laparoscopic surgery.

"Talledo is dedicated to providing exceptional care and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of general surgery," it said.
