HSFD academy: In-house program graduates its first firefighters for city

The Hot Springs Fire Department completed its first in-house academy last month, certifying five new firefighters for duty.

Chief Ed Davis told the Civil Service Commission Heriberto Barrera, Alex Marteny, Abraham Liera, Robert Pinter and Hunter Fant were no longer firefighter candidates.
